ABOUT ME
I'm Emma Leuschner, a researcher and historic preservation advocate.
My research on Pennock Sharpless and the P.E. Sharpless Company is published in Vista.Today, Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission's "Pennsylvania Trails of History," Pennsylvania Heritage magazine, and the National Park Service's National Register of Historic Places.
I reside in a Victorian farmhouse that once belonged to Pennock Sharpless' brother-in-law, Mr. John DeHaven Bishop. Follow along on Instagram @victoriancreamcheesehouse for more P.E. Sharpless tidbits and Old House Community fun!
This website is intended to celebrate the history and legacy of Pennock Sharpless and Philadelphia cream cheese.
